Asian Canoeing Championships Kick Off in China

The Asian Canoeing Championships officially began today in Nanchang, China. The prestigious continental event has brought together over 200 athletes from 20 countries, who will compete for medals in K-1, K-2, K-4, C-1, C-2, and mixed categories across 200m, 500m, and 1000m distances.

Uzbekistan is represented by a strong team of 16 kayakers and canoeists. Notably, our compatriot Ismail Egamberdiev has also been selected as one of the official judges for the championship, highlighting the growing recognition of Uzbek specialists in international sports arenas.

The competition promises thrilling races and fierce rivalry as top paddlers from across Asia vie for continental supremacy.
