Young Taekwondo Athletes from Uzbekistan Win Gold and Bronze at World Championships

Great news from the UAE — Uzbekistan’s cadet national team had a successful day at the WT Taekwondo World Championships for cadets.

In the -65 kg weight category, Nikita Bibikov delivered an outstanding performance, defeating all of his opponents to claim the gold medal. In the final, he overcame Iran’s Amir Aghamohammadi to secure the top podium spot.

In the -41 kg girls’ division, Raykhona Asanboeva advanced to the semifinals and earned a bronze medal for her efforts.

With these results, Team Uzbekistan’s current tally stands at 2 gold and 1 bronze medal at the championship — a promising achievement for the nation’s rising taekwondo stars.
