
Tashkent will host ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships
Tashkent will host the next edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will be held April 30 - May 7, reports Asian Boxing Confederation.
According to the official media report, the boxers who have already turned out the age from 19 to 40 shall be eligible to participate in the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will take place in Tashkent.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will be the lone qualification event for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships. Asia has got 60 quota places for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships, six in each weight classes. The best six boxers from the light flyweight (49kg) up to the super heavyweight (+91kg) will be qualified for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships.
India, China, South Korea, Mongolia, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Tajikistan, Chinese Taipei, Turkmenistan, Jordan, DPR Korea, Syria, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Iraq and Indonesia national boxing teams will be invited to the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent.
