Uzbekistan will face former champions Britain in the Davis Cup playoffs in September as they bid to retain their spot in the World Group for the 2019 season.

The Central Asians beat Pakistan 4 -1 in round two of Davis Cup Asia-Oceania Group I, in the federal capital last Saturday.

The match against Britain will take place between 14-16 September and as the seeded nation Great Britain will have home advantage.
