The leadership of the NOC of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia

The 90th Executive Committee Meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) was organized in Kuwait. The event reviewed the plans of the organization's activities for the near future and preparations for the upcoming major complex competitions. OCA Vice President, First Deputy Chairman of the NOC Otabek Umarov, Secretary General of the Committee Oybek Kasimov, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov participated in the meeting on behalf of Uzbekistan. 

The agenda of the event included discussion of the latest information on preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya-2026 Asian Summer Games. The responsible persons showed presentations on their directions. Also, during the meeting OCA Standing Committees gave a detailed report on their activities. In addition, an agreement was signed between the Olympic Council of Asia and the Government of Kuwait regarding the autonomy of the OCA headquarters in this country. 

During the working visit, the Uzbek side organized meetings with Kuwaiti officials and high-ranking representatives of the Olympic family, as well as with the OCA leadership. During the meetings, issues of further strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between the organizations were discussed.
