Two Uzbek Weightlifters Win Medals at the Asian Championships

The Asian Weightlifting Championships continue in Jiangshan, China, where Team Uzbekistan has added more medals to its tally.

In the women’s 81 kg weight category, Uzbek lifters Rigina Adashbaeva and Madina Fayzullaeva delivered strong performances to finish among the medalists.

Rigina Adashbaeva claimed bronze in the snatch, lifting 104 kg, and also secured another bronze in the total with a combined result of 224 kg. Meanwhile, Madina Fayzullaeva earned a spot on the podium by lifting 121 kg in the clean and jerk, placing her among the top three in the discipline.

These results highlight the strength and depth of Uzbekistan’s women’s weightlifting team on the continental stage.
