The 24-year-old will faced Alexandra Bozovic of Australia in the 1st Round in Women's Qualifying Singles of Australian Open.
In two straight sets, Sharipova claimed a 6-4 6-0 win as they advanced to the 2nd Round game against Italian Martina Trevisan on Thursday.
